Plodders Procure for Parkview!!!
Parkview Plodders have raised enough money EXACTLY £750 to equip the school library with a new computer. On Sunday 8th October a team of ten plodders (plus Zoe!!) ran (some plodded) six miles in a race held at Merrill College. Sponsorship has come not only from the parents and friends of the school but from places of work as well.

This means that the school can have a computerised record of the books in the school and the children can search the database for their favourite authors and for books connected with projects and topics in school and for homework. Various CDs and encyclopaedias can also be used as well as there being a link to the Internet via the Derby City Intranet.
Synchronised Plodders!!
The 'Plodders' were very well supported during the event by their mascot and by children from the school. A couple of the children admitted it was rather a long wait until all the plodders had finished the race!!!!!
